Job summary

Talent Groups is seeking an experienced IT Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst to support IT asset lifecycle management, CMDB data quality, and IT asset management process improvement initiatives.

You will handle hardware discovery, validation, reconciliation, and inventory accuracy while ensuring CMDB data integrity and accurate associations between assets and services. Strong analytical skills and stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT Asset Management experience.
• 5+ years of CMDB data accuracy/asset associations experience.
• 5+ years of developing, documenting and improving IT Asset Management processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT asset lifecycle activities including hardware discovery, validation, reconciliation and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain and improve CMDB data quality, completeness, consistency and accuracy.
• Validate asset records and ensure correct associations between hardware assets, configuration items, and related services.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between discovered hardware, asset inventory records, and CMDB data.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage IT asset lifecycle activities, including hardware discovery, validation, reconciliation, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain and improve CMDB data quality, completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
• Validate asset records and ensure appropriate associations between hardware assets, configuration items, and related services.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between discovered hardware, asset inventory records, and CMDB data.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, including hardware discovery, validation, and reconciliation.
• 5+ years of experience with CMDB data accuracy and asset associations.
• 5+ years of experience developing, documenting, and improving IT Asset Management processes.
• Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management and inventory reconciliation.
• Experience identifying and resolving asset data discrepancies and maintaining accurate configuration records.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
