Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking an Area IT Manager to lead a team delivering high-quality IT services across multiple clinical locations. You will plan resources, manage budgets, and ensure reliable technical environments to support patient care and clinical operations.

The role requires 5+ years in healthcare IT with progressive responsibilities and 2+ years in leadership, plus a BA/BS in a related field.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education requirement: high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver an appropriately resourced IT Service organization within the assigned geographic area.
  • Resource the quality of service and technical environment performance; factor in growth and project demand into capacity plans.
  • Monitor and control KPIs related to service delivery, customer satisfaction, cost, and performance.
  • Lead and supervise a team of hands-on technical support staff for the assigned area.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, continually advocate for and deliver improved customer experiences through technical expertise and planning.

Often, FCS leads the nation in initiating research studies and offering ground-breaking new therapies to patients.Come join us today!Summary:The Area IT Manager leads a team of assigned technical staff to plan and complete key functions that enable the delivery of high-quality technical support service to end users, to ensure the technical environment within the assigned geographic area is appropriately maintained, and the technical resources required to meet business needs are delivered on-time and within budget.
