Job summary

SEMI, Milpitas, CA, seeks an Intern, IT Applications & Support to provide day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure and desktop systems. You will assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting in a mixed environment.

This non-exempt, part-time role (20 hours per week) reports to the Senior Manager, IT Operations and offers exposure to cloud-based applications and help desk operations.

Qualifications

• B.S in Information Technology or equivalent in work experience.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure and desktop systems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware in a heterogeneous environment.
• Backup systems administration and support for SEMI's cloud-based applications.
• Manage help desk ticketing, escalate unresolved queries, and maintain customer relationships.
