Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking an IT Applications Team Lead to guide the development, support, governance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing and business applications across Trivium facilities. You will serve as the primary liaison between plant operations and corporate application teams to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of IT Applications, Software Development, Business Intelligence, Manufacturing Systems, or related experience.
• 3+ years of project management or leading technical teams.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or operational technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of application developers, business intelligence analysts, web developers, and manufacturing data specialists.
• Serve as the primary IT liaison between plant operations and enterprise application teams.
• Oversee development and support of custom manufacturing applications.
• Guide Power Platform, Power BI, SharePoint, Databricks, and web development initiatives.
• Ensure applications meet performance, reliability, security, and compliance requirements.
• Govern application lifecycle management, testing, deployment, and documentation processes.
