Job summary

Corning Incorporated in the United States seeks an Applications Developer & Integration Specialist to support manufacturing operations. You will learn the critical application, provide troubleshooting, and contribute to development and integration efforts across Europe and the US.

This role offers exposure to manufacturing systems, reporting, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with IT, Manufacturing, and engineering teams. Strong communication and ITIL/Agile familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or related field.
• 3+ years in software development, application support, or systems integration.
• Experience troubleshooting business-critical apps.
• Knowledge of web development tools and SQL databases.
• Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to gather requirements and align with global standards.
• Support manufacturing operations through reporting, analytics, and app support.
• Learn and be SME for a critical manufacturing app developed by a European team.
• Serve as front-line U.S. support for troubleshooting and break/fix.
• Design specifications for developers to acquire process data.
• Develop reporting and data analytics to address technical and business needs.
• Support integrations and ensure code and systems work together.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for projects.
• Provide user training and ongoing support with IT, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
