Seyer Industries, a Missouri-based manufacturer, seeks a Manager for IT Applications & Development to lead our enterprise applications and software delivery. You will manage a small development team, shape lifecycle management, and partner with the CFO-led IT governance to align technology with business goals across ERP, HRIS, QA, and manufacturing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IS or related experience.
• Approximately 10+ years in software engineering, enterprise apps, or systems integration.
• Approximately 5+ years of technical leadership leading software/dev teams.
• Experience implementing and supporting enterprise applications and lifecycles.
• Experience establishing software engineering practices, delivery processes, and governance.
• Strong business partnership skills and change leadership.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; aerospace/defense a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the IT Applications & Development team with priorities.
• Provide stewardship for enterprise applications including ERP, HRIS, quality, and manufacturing systems.
• Lead implementation, maintenance, and retirement of enterprise applications and software.
• Establish software engineering practices, code reviews, CI/CD, testing, documentation, and security.
• Lead the full application lifecycle from intake to retirement.
• Manage delivery capacity, backlogs, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Partner with process owners to translate needs into tech solutions.
• Lead AI-enabled applications lifecycle and vendor management.
• Manage vendors, licensing, SLAs, and support relationships.
• Maintain visibility into portfolio health and planned investments.
