Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows Server deployment, maintenance, security.
• Experience installing, configuring, maintaining software applications.
• Understanding of database maintenance and administration.
• Knowledge pertaining to SQL and Power BI.
• Pass background and drug screenings.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Abide by the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics.
• Install, configure, and maintain software applications across the organization.
• Provide day-to-day user support for applications.
• Monitor application performance and stability.
• Coordinate with IT teams and agency personnel for updates.
• Develop detailed reports for customers using SQL and Power BI.
• Support operations and upkeep of agency database systems.
• Develop and deliver training sessions and materials for users.
• Create and maintain documentation for applications.
• Implement and maintain security measures for applications and data.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, regulations, and licensing.
• Liaise with software vendors for support, upgrades, and licensing.
• Stay updated with trends in application and database management.
• Recommend improvements and evaluate new software and tools.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline management.
• Keep tickets up to date and track assets and licenses.
• Perform other duties including during emergencies.
