Job summary

Defense Media Activity is seeking a GS-12 IT specialist to analyze, design, develop, integrate, implement, and modernize academic applications for the Defense Information School. The role emphasizes SDLC leadership, Agile methodologies, and secure, compliant enterprise solutions.

The incumbent will leverage Azure DevOps and SQL Server in a client-facing environment, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to federal IT standards while collaborating with a team of developers and DBAs.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11 in the Federal service.
• Experience with full SDLC using Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps.
• Developing SQL Server database objects and ensuring security/compliance.
• IT-related experience demonstrating core competencies: detail, service, communication, problem solving.
