Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable transformation pipelines using dbt and Snowflake.
• Design dimensional models, star schemas, and analytics-ready data marts.
• Develop and optimize SQL transformations across raw, integrated, and reporting layers.
• Work within a Medallion-style bronze/silver/gold architecture.
• Support ingestion and orchestration using Matillion or similar ETL/ELT platforms.
• Implement automated testing, data-quality controls, monitoring, and reconciliation.
• Maintain source control and deployment processes using Git/GitHub and CI/CD.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, compute utilization, and query execution.
• Help build governed data products and semantic layers for analytics and AI initiatives.

We’re partnering with a well-established medical device manufacturing organization in the Brooklyn Park area that is continuing to modernize its enterprise data platform.

They’re looking for a hands‑on Analytics Engineer who can help transform complex operational and manufacturing data into trusted, analytics-ready data products. This person will work across Snowflake, dbt, SQL, dimensional modeling, and modern ELT/CI/CD practices to build scalable data pipelines and semantic layers that support reporting, self-service analytics, and future AI/ML initiatives.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning technical work end to end and wants to remain close to the engineering rather than move into a purely managerial or architectural role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and maintain scalable transformation pipelines using dbt and Snowflake

What We’re Looking For

Work Arrangement

This position is onsite in Brooklyn Park for the first 3 months to support onboarding and integration with the team. After that initial period, the role transitions to a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Compensation

$110,000–$140,000 base salary, depending on experience and overall fit.
