Job summary

Harnham in Addison, TX, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to shape a new enterprise data platform. You will build a Snowflake-based environment, develop ELT pipelines, and own data governance standards as part of a large modernization effort.

This hands-on, greenfield role offers high visibility and long-term growth as analytics and AI initiatives mature. You’ll work with consultants and stakeholders to deliver trusted datasets for reporting and decision making.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering, data warehousing, or related roles
• Experience with modern cloud data warehouses
• Hands-on Snowflake experience
• Proven dbt and data transformation expertise
• Experience building/maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines
• Understanding of data architecture, modeling, and governance
• Experience supporting analytics/reporting with trusted datasets

Responsibilities

We're partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed services organization undergoing a major data transformation. Following a period of significant acquisition-driven growth, the company is investing heavily in modernizing its data platform, creating a rare opportunity for a hands-on Data Engineer to help build a scalable enterprise data ecosystem from the ground up.

This is not a maintenance role.

You'll join at the beginning of a large-scale modernization initiative, working directly alongside an implementation partner to stand up a brand-new Snowflake environment, establish data architecture and governance standards, and build the pipelines and transformations that will power reporting, analytics, and future AI initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with consultants and internal stakeholders to design and implement a new enterprise data platform centered around Snowflake
• Build and maintain scalable ELT pipelines using modern cloud data technologies
• Develop, optimize, and support dbt models and transformation frameworks
• Own backend data workflows from source system ingestion through reporting and analytics consumption
• Help establish data governance, cataloging, documentation, and quality standards
• Integrate data from multiple business systems into a centralized warehouse environment
• Support Domo reporting and analytics initiatives by delivering clean, trusted datasets
• Define best practices, architecture standards, and processes that will remain in place long after implementation is complete
• Collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure reporting consistency and data integrity across the organization

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or related data platform roles
• Strong experience building and supporting modern cloud data warehouse environments
• Hands-on Snowflake experience
• Proven expertise with dbt and data transformation frameworks
• Experience building and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines
• Understanding of data architecture, modeling, and governance principles
• Experience supporting analytics and reporting teams through trusted datasets
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working in environments where processes, standards, and data maturity are still evolving

Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 base salary
