Job summary

IRIS Consulting LLC in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a hands-on Analytics Engineer to transform complex manufacturing data into analytics-ready data products. You will work across Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and modern ELT/CI/CD practices to build scalable data pipelines and semantic layers that support reporting and future AI initiatives.

This role offers end-to-end ownership of technical work and closer engagement with engineering.

Qualifications

3+ years of Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
dbt, SQL, and modern ETL/ELT practices.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable transformation pipelines using dbt and Snowflake.
Design dimensional models, star schemas, and analytics-ready data marts.
Develop and optimize SQL transformations across raw, integrated, and reporting layers.
Work within a Medallion-style bronze/silver/gold architecture.
Support ingestion and orchestration using Matillion or similar ETL/ELT platforms.
Implement automated testing, data-quality controls, monitoring, and reconciliation.
Maintain source control and deployment processes using Git/GitHub and CI/CD.
Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Optimize Snowflake performance, compute utilization, and query execution.
Help build governed data products and semantic layers for analytics and AI initiatives.
