Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to manage and support our enterprise systems in a manufacturing environment, focusing on Epicor ERP, Windows servers and MS 365.

This role will be the primary point of contact for ERP, Windows servers, networks and Microsoft 365 services, ensuring system availability, security and continuous improvement of IT processes to support production, finance and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT, CS, Eng or equivalent experience; related certifications are a plus.
• 3+ years as IT Administrator supporting ERP systems, Epicor preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, SQL Server and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with network infrastructure, server virtualization and ERP integrations.
• Manufacturing environment experience and ability to support production systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure the ERP system (Epicor preferred): manage users, security roles, modules, workflows and customizations; upgrades and patches.
• Provide day-to-day IT support for servers, workstations, networks and MS 365; resolve incidents promptly.
• Maintain Windows Server environments, AD, SQL Server databases and backups; monitor performance.
• Manage network devices, VPNs and firewalls for reliable connectivity across sites.
• Support ERP integrations between manufacturing systems and business apps; maintain data interfaces.
• Configure CMS and internal portals for documentation and shop-floor instructions.
• Implement IT security practices: patching, antivirus, vulnerability scans and DR plans.
• Collaborate with production, finance and operations to gather requirements and drive improvements.
• Document configurations and processes; create user guides and deliver end-user training.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Administrator to manage, configure and support our enterprise systems in a manufacturing environment. This role will be the primary point of contact for our ERP platform (preferably Epicor), Windows servers, networks and Microsoft 365 services, ensuring system availability, security and continuous improvement of IT processes to support production, finance and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and configure the ERP system (Epicor preferred): manage users, security roles, modules, workflows and customizations; implement upgrades and apply patches with minimal disruption.
• Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting for servers, Windows workstations, network devices and Microsoft 365 services; resolve incidents and escalations promptly.
• Maintain and administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, SQL Server databases and backups; monitor performance and execute maintenance tasks.
• Manage network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPNs and wireless; ensure reliable connectivity for production and office sites.
• Support integrations between ERP and other systems (manufacturing equipment, MES, CRM, ecommerce, third-party applications); create and maintain data interfaces and APIs.
• Configure and maintain content management systems (CMS) and internal portals used for documentation, knowledge sharing and shop-floor instructions.
• Implement IT security best practices: manage patching, antivirus, vulnerability scans, access controls and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, finance and operations teams to gather requirements, deliver system enhancements and improve business processes.
• Document system configurations, processes and procedures; create user guides and deliver end-user training and support.
• Coordinate with vendors and external consultants for ERP projects, system upgrades and specialist support; manage service contracts and licenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience; related certifications (e.g., MCSA, Microsoft 365, CCNA) a plus.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as an IT Administrator supporting ERP systems; direct Epicor experience strongly preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience managing network infrastructure (routing/switching, firewalls, VPN) and server virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with ERP integrations, APIs and data exchange between manufacturing systems and business applications.
• Practical experience in a manufacturing environment or supporting production systems and shop-floor technologies.
• Proven ability to configure systems, apply patches and perform upgrades with minimal downtime.
• Solid understanding of IT security principles, backup/recovery strategies and business continuity planning.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to train non-technical users and collaborate across teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure; attention to detail and strong documentation habits.
