Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is looking for an IT Administrator to support and maintain our technology infrastructure on-site in Bakersfield, CA. This hands-on role spans systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, and end-user support.

You will work across technologies to minimize downtime and contribute to the growth and stability of our IT environment. A 2+ year background and an associate degree meet the requirements for this role.

Competenze

• Associate degree or equivalent in IT or CS.
• 2+ years in IT support, systems or network administration.
• Experience with Windows Server, AD, MS 365, and workstation management.
• Networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

We are seeking an IT Administrator to support and maintain our organization’s technology infrastructure while providing exceptional technical support to end users. This hands‑on IT Administrator role is ideal for a well‑rounded IT professional with experience in systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, and end‑user support. The IT Administrator role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of technologies and gain hands‑on experience with infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and systems administration. You’ll play a key role in supporting business operations while contributing to the growth and stability of our IT environment.

Schedule: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities of IT Administrator:

• Administer and support Windows-based servers, workstations, and network infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access through Active Directory and Google Workspace.
• Provide Tier I/II technical support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and network‑related issues.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Support networking environments including switches, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, system backups, disaster recovery, and security best practices.
• Configure and support network‑connected devices, security systems, cameras, and access control technology.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, and support records.
• Participate in on‑call support as needed for critical systems and operational requirements.

Qualifications of IT Administrator:

Required

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network administration.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and workstation management.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and VLANs.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.

Preferred

• Experience with Google Workspace administration.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity tools, endpoint management, and backup solutions.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Experience supporting security, surveillance, or access control systems.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications.
