BR TECHNOLOGIES GmbH in Germany is seeking an motivated First and Second Level IT Support specialist to join our friendly team. You will handle remote and on-site IT faults, classify and document requests, and assist with system administration and network tasks.

Qualifications

• Completed training in IT (e.g. IT specialist for system integration) or equivalent qualification.
• Initial professional experience in IT support (first/second level) is desirable.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft environments, as well as Linux.
• Basic knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Service-oriented, structured and independent working style.
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills.
• Very good command of German.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second level IT support remotely and on-site.
• Classify, prioritise, and document requests.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Escalate complex requests to third level support.
• Install, configure, and maintain clients and peripheral devices.
• Manage user accounts and permissions (e.g. Active Directory).
• Maintain and develop the IT system landscape.
• Assist with network administration (LAN/WLAN, VPN).
• Monitor system availability and performance.
• Create and maintain system and user documentation.
• Provide training and user support for IT systems and applications.

First and Second Level Support

• Receiving, analysing and resolving IT faults and service requests (remotely and on-site)
• Classifying, prioritising and documenting requests
• Fault analysis and troubleshooting for hardware and software
• Escalating complex requests to Third Level Support

System administration

• Installation, configuration and maintenance of clients, peripheral devices and mobile devices
• User and rights management (e.g. Active Directory)
• Maintenance and further development of the IT system landscape

Network & Infrastructure

• Support with the administration of networks (LAN/WLAN, VPN)
• Monitoring of system availability and performance

IT Security & Documentation

• Implementation of IT security policies
• Creation and maintenance of system and user documentation

Training & Support

• Support and training for users regarding IT systems and applications

Your profile
