Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support customer activities at a McLean, VA site. You will help ensure security across the risk management framework, develop critical security documentation, and coordinate testing with engineering and external teams.

The role requires TS/SCI with active polygraph, 8+ years of experience, and a strong background in cloud security and enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, IT, or cybersecurity.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Work with program security team to provide all aspects of security.
• Develop SSPs, POA&Ms, and BOE artifacts for sponsor approval.
• Identify security controls and coordinate test plans with engineering and testing teams.
• Coordinate security testing with external assessment teams.
• Configure and support cloud native services to protect the security posture.
