Job summary

Ares Enterprise, LLC is seeking a highly qualified Information Systems Security Officer to join our Cybersecurity team to support AFSCI cybersecurity initiatives and execute the RMF lifecycle. The role will work closely with the ISRM to ensure system security compliance and manage SSPs and POA&Ms.

You will collaborate on day-to-day vulnerability management, maintain eMASS artifacts, and support training for Cybersecurity Liaisons and end users.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required prior to start.
• Meets DCWF ISSM (722) – Intermediate.
• Must complete DoD 8140/8570 training within 45 business days of hire.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day security controls, SSP, and RMF for unclassified, secret, and sensitive networks.
• Run and analyze ACAS vulnerability scans; document, mitigate, or remediate DoD/AF vulnerabilities.
• Draft and process POA&Ms and Security Impact Assessments (SIAs).
• Maintain and update PP&S spreadsheets and eMASS artifacts.
• Monitor, track, and support responses to NDCI and cybersecurity incidents.
• Maintain security posture and documentation for classified spaces and VTC systems.
• Support continuous monitoring, self-inspections, and CCRI preparation.
• Assist in training unit Cybersecurity Liaisons and end users on requirements.
