Job summary

IPSecure, Inc. is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to provide RMF support for DoD programs at Patrick AFB, Melbourne, FL. The ideal candidate will document, implement, and assess security controls while performing system monitoring and compliance activities.

The ISSO will work with program/site leads and government staff to maintain an effective information security program and ensure ongoing authorization to operate in accordance with AFI and DoD guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field; 3+ years of experience, or Master’s degree.
• Active Top Secret clearance w/SCI.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I (Security+) or higher baseline certification; Security+ w/CE’s preferred (CISSP).
• Working knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls and RMF.
• Experience with DoD RMF activities and system security testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RMF body of evidence documentation (e.g., SSP, RMF artifacts) using Microsoft Office tools.
• Maintain repositories of security documentation with access controls.
• Develop and execute security control assessment procedures to verify conformance.
• Coordinate with system administrators and cyber team to ensure proper security posture.
• Assist in maintaining authorization to operate and implement corrective actions.
• Document vulnerabilities and POA&M items and track remediation.
