Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in Spokane, WA, to support a DoW customer. You will ensure cybersecurity controls are implemented across DoW information systems, lead RMF processes, and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals for standalone networks and shared WANs.

The ideal candidate will have TS/SCI eligibility, hands-on RMF background, experience with Nessus, Splunk, ePO, and strong written communication.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI eligibility required.
• Minimum 2 years as ISSO/ISSM or similar cybersecurity role.
• Experience developing, submitting, and processing RMF packages.
• Familiarity with DoD 8140/8570 requirements and related certifications.
• Strong writing skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor DoW/DoD cybersecurity policy changes and update local policies.
• Review system security logs to identify anomalies and report findings.
• Manage network accounts and access controls for standalone networks and WANs.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities with Nessus; coordinate with IT teams.
• Provide cybersecurity training and assist with RMF ATO packages and artifacts.
• Conduct RMF self-inspections and continuous monitoring for supported systems.
• Coordinate hardware/software changes through CCBs and maintain security baselines.
• Ensure proper system operation, maintenance, and disposal per DoW/DoD policies.
