Columbia Technology Partners, Inc. in Maryland seeks an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to oversee and enhance the cybersecurity posture across programs and enclaves.

You will implement RMF controls, support security authorizations, and maintain required documentation such as SSPs and A&A packages. The role requires extensive ISSO background, DoD 8570 IAM Level I compliance, and strong collaboration with senior leadership to ensure compliance and secure operations for

Qualifications

• Fifteen years as ISSO on similar programs.
• Experience with RMF, security policy, and documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher certification.

Responsibilities

• Support senior ISSOs in enforcing information systems security policies and methodologies.
• Propose, coordinate, and implement IT security programs and methodologies.
• Assist with preparation, development, and maintenance of SSPs, SRTMs, C&A packages, and Risk Assessment Reports.
• Maintain operational cybersecurity posture for assigned systems, programs, or enclaves.
• Evaluate security solutions to ensure compliance with security requirements for processing classified information.
• Assist with configuration management of security-relevant software, hardware, and firmware.
• Maintain records for workstations, servers, network devices, system upgrades, and security-relevant changes.
• Develop and update system security plans and related cybersecurity documentation.
• Support the ISSM in maintaining the appropriate cybersecurity posture.
• Interact with customers, IT staff, and leadership to achieve cybersecurity objectives.
• Conduct vulnerability and risk assessment analyses to support security authorization.
