Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support security and information assurance activities for Hanscom AFB. This full-time role focuses on developing and maintaining IA programs and ensuring compliance with Air Force and DoD cybersecurity directives.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in DoD information security, a Bachelor’s degree, Security+ certification, US citizenship, and TS/SCI with SCI.

Qualifications

6+ years experience in information security supporting a DoD program.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Security+ certified.
Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD and applicable Federal Cybersecurity Directives and Instructions.
US citizen and hold a current TS/SCI clearance.
Excellent communication, organizational, customer service and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, oversee, and maintain IA program that identifies IA requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures.
Supervise the customer organization’s IA program.
Implement and enforce Air Force IA policies and procedures.
Ensure all users have requisite security clearances and IA responsibilities.
Ensure IA refresher training annually.
Develop and maintain C&A documentation for Hanscom Network systems.
