Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to support security and information assurance activities for Hanscom AFB. This full-time role requires a Security+ CE certification, 5+ years of information security experience, and a current Secret clearance.

The ISSO will develop and maintain the IA program across servers, workstations, and networked systems while ensuring compliance with Air Force and DoD directives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security experience.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Must hold Security+ CE certification.
• Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD and applicable Federal Cybersecurity Directives and Instructions.
• US citizen with current Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, oversee, and maintain IA program identifying IA requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure servers, workstation apps, peripherals, communications devices, operating systems, and application software are properly configured for network operation, online access, and availability.
• Assist the Primary Property Custodian in asset management responsibilities.
• Assist with compliance of local ECO and DoD requirements, training, and use of approved tracking tools/databases/SharePoint sites.
• Ensure customer organization compliance with government, Air Force, and local policies for hardware asset management.
