Collins Aerospace is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Level 2 in Cedar Rapids to support cybersecurity operations for classified information systems. You will perform ISSO-level activities, help ensure compliance, auditing readiness, and risk identification while supporting data transfers and access requests.

Requires active DoD Secret clearance, university degree with 2+ years of related experience, and IAM Level I certification.

Qualifications

• University degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required on day one.
• IAM Level I certification compliant with DoD 8570/8140 (e.g., Security+, GSEC, GSLC).
• Experience monitoring, detection, and analysis of cybersecurity events.

Responsabilités

• Support cybersecurity implementation and maintenance for assigned information systems under supervision.
• Process and review data transfer requests with proper security controls.
• Assist with user account and access requests per RBAC policies.
• Conduct continuous monitoring: review logs, validate controls, identify anomalies.
• Perform system auditing and log reviews to detect policy violations or security events.
• Develop and update security plans and authorization artifacts for audits.
• Track and help close POA&Ms from audits and assessments.
• Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and Industrial Security to enforce requirements.
