Job summary

Leidos seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Chief Technology Officer to lead security governance, risk management, and compliant modernization of federal IT systems.

This role requires deep cloud and AI security expertise, RMF/NIST proficiency, and collaboration with government customers. You will shape policies, develop security documentation, and drive zero-trust initiatives across hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• 12+ years IT/cybersecurity experience; 5+ years ISSO on federal systems.
• Proven cloud computing expertise and AI-enabled security experience.
• Strong RMF/NIST knowledge; excellent writing and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CGRC, CISM, CASP+) and cloud certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity oversight for major CBP applications and systems.
• Lead ISSO governance, risk management, and security planning artifacts.
• Implement AI-driven security tools and zero-trust alignment.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans, POAMs, and related docs.
• Oversee vulnerability management, patching, and security assessments.
