Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for our client at Creech AFB in Indian Springs, Nevada. The ISSO will support Information Assurance operations, develop SSPs, conduct risk assessments, monitor security controls, and ensure compliance with AF and NISPOM requirements.

Requires TS/SCI, DoD 8570 IA Certification, and strong experience with security policies, incident response, and security clearances.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of NISPOM, NISPOM Overprint and DOD JSIG Manual.
• DoD 8570.01-M IA Certification required.
• Experience with RMF/IA, SSPs, and security accreditation.
• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Assist ISSM in maintaining approvals/accreditations for all classified systems.
• Develop SSP, CONOPS, and security guidelines for classified systems.
• Coordinate changes with ISSM, SCA, and Wing Cybersecurity office.
• Report security incidents or vulnerabilities per AFI guidelines.
