Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for our customer located at Creech AFB in Indian Springs, Nevada. The role supports IA operations, risk assessments, vulnerability scanning, and security testing for classified systems.

The ideal candidate has DoD RMF/AFMAN knowledge, NISPOM proficiency, and TS/SCI clearance. Strong communication and documentation skills are required to coordinate with ISSM and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of NISPOM, NISPOM Overprint and DOD JSIG.
• Maintain approvals/accreditations for classified systems and reporting.
• Develop SSP/CONOPS and guidelines for classified systems.
• Perform system security documentation and audits.

Responsibilities

• Assist ISSM in managing SSP, CONOPS and approvals.
• Implement AF cybersecurity policies and training.
• Audit and ensure proper access control and configuration management.
• Coordinate security incidents and corrective actions.
