Job summary

Abacus Technology seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support Hanscom AFB security and information assurance activities in a full-time role. The position emphasizes IA program development and enforcement of Air Force policies.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in information security, a related bachelor’s degree, Security+ CE, U.S. citizenship, and TS/SCI clearance. The role requires liaising with stakeholders and ensuring compliant C&A documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, oversee, and maintain IA program identifying requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures.
• Supervise the customer organization’s IA program.
• Enforce Air Force IA policies and procedures per applicable directives.
• Comply with installation WCSO policy and direction.
• Ensure users have required clearances and IA responsibilities before access.
• Provide annual IA refresher training for users.
• Develop and maintain Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation for systems on Hanscom Network.
