Job summary

Astranis seeks an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to lead the Information System Security Program in support of classified and unclassified systems across SCIF environments. The role ensures RMF compliance, controls implementation, and continuous monitoring in coordination with government customers and internal security leadership.

Responsibilities include overseeing RMF lifecycle activities, authorizing packages, and maintaining SSPs and security policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of ISSM experience in collateral/SCIF environments.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (or equivalent).
• Strong RMF expertise and knowledge of NISPOM, ICD 503/705, and NIST standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Information System Security Program per NISPOM and ICDs (e.g., ICD 503, 705).
• Oversee RMF lifecycle: system categorization, control implementation, assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring.
• Interface with SCAs and accrediting authorities to ensure compliant, inspection-ready environments.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, policies, and supporting artifacts; coordinate with government customers.
