Job summary

Boeing Classified Cybersecurity in Herndon, VA is seeking a Cybersecurity – Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to lead security governance for classified information systems and support enterprise activities. The ISSM will perform RMF-based security analysis, oversee A&A, and coordinate with government customers and contractors to ensure compliance with policies, standards and directives.

Candidates must have Tier 5 SSBI, active TS/SCI with polygraph, and IAM Level III certification;

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph.
• Tier 5/SSBI or Continuous Vetting within last 5 years.
• Certification to satisfy IAM Level III (CISSP, GSLC, or CISM).
• 5+ years of RMF-based cybersecurity policy experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security of operations and development environments against standards.
• Lead Assessment & Authorization (A&A) under RMF for new and existing systems.
• Develop MOUs/ISAs and support continuous monitoring activities.
• Oversee configuration management and audit security posture.
• Guide assessments and document compliance with security requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, mitigation, and incident response oversight.
• Perform periodic hardware/software inventory assessments.
• Serve as spokesperson on advanced projects and advisor on technical research.
• Interface with government customers, suppliers, and Boeing personnel on cyber requirements.
