Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a GXVM System Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the NSWC Crane program in Crane, Indiana. The role includes onsite work with Program Office Technical Leads, frequent travel to SPHQ or Field Activities, and delivering cybersecurity architectures for SSP systems.

The candidate should have a BS in engineering or cybersecurity, 5+ years in cybersecurity, and a Security+ or equivalent certification. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to travel 40%+.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or equivalent.
5+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

Embed Cybersecurity requirements in SSP system designs for acquisition, development, test and sustainment.
Develop System Security Plans detailing security controls for each information system.
Coordinate with SSP Program Offices and contractors through assessments and discussions.
Support lifecycle planning with SSP programs and maintain lifecycle plans.
Develop technical presentations and evaluate performer deliverables.
