Job summary

Bowhead seeks a GXVM System Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support its customer in Crane, IN. The ISSE onsite at NSWC Crane will travel regularly to SPHQ or Field Activities and provide technical and program management support to SSP programs and Program Offices.

The role focuses on embedding Cybersecurity requirements into SSP system designs, developing security plans, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Current OS/CE certifications for Windows and RHEL.

Responsibilities

• Embed Cybersecurity requirements in SSP system designs from acquisition to sustainment.
• Develop system security plans detailing security controls for each information system.
• Collaborate with SSP programs to maintain lifecycle plans and assess deliverables.
• Coordinate with SSP representatives and contractors through meetings and briefings.
