Job summary

Omm IT Solutions in Ft. Meade, MD seeks an Information Systems Security Engineer Level 3 to lead secure design and implementation across DoD-grade environments. Requires active TS/SCI and Full Scope Poly, DoD 8570 IASAE Level 3, and strong IA compliance.

The ISSE will assess vulnerabilities, establish system security designs, and support risk management, certification, and accreditation activities throughout the program life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline required.
• Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience, reducing the requirement.
• 20 years of ISSE experience required on programs of similar scope.

Responsibilities

• Perform or review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance with IA standards.
• Validate system security requirements and design secure architectures across networking and enclave environments.
• Support certification and accreditation activities, risk analysis, and information security planning throughout the program life cycle.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Assurance

IASAE Level 3 DoD 8570 compliance

ISSEP or CISSP Certification

20 years of ISSE experience
