Job summary

Gladiatoremergence seeks an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) Level 1 at Fort Meade, MD. The role requires TS/SCI + Full Scope Poly and on-site work with a salary range of $79,796 to $119,796 annually.

You will contribute to security engineering on programs, designing secure networking and enclave environments and ensuring compliance with IA policy. Qualifications include 7 years of ISSE experience, a related Bachelor's degree or 4 years substituted, and DoD 8570 IASAE Level 2

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience as an ISSE on programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related discipline.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 is required.
• Four (4) years of ISSE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
• Participate on IA architectures, systems, or system components design, development, and integration.
• Serve as primary security engineering representative for design, development, and evaluation of secure environments.
• Support enforcement of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.
• Apply IA policy to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
• Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.
• Interact with the customer and other project team members.

The Level 1 Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) shall possess the following capabilities:

• Participate as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments
• Participate as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, and integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components
• Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments
• Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components
• Support the
