Job summary

Power3 Solutions information systems security engineers are sought to support high-impact, mission-critical national security programs at Fort Meade, MD. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with poly and a strong ISSE background, working across government customers to ensure IA compliance and secure architectures.

You will implement security controls, perform risk management, and participate in DoD RMF/NIST RMF activities.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.
• 10+ years as ISSE on contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related field.
• DoD 8570 IASAE Level 2 compliance (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, or equivalent).
• Master’s degree may substitute for six years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure IA compliance.
• Define, verify, and validate system security requirements and contribute to security architecture.
• Implement and integrate IA and cybersecurity solutions across complex environments.
• Assist architects and developers in applying security policies and enterprise solutions.
• Assess and mitigate security risks throughout the program lifecycle.
• Apply expertise in risk management, intrusion detection, incident handling, and security engineering.
• Support certification and accreditation activities within NSA/CSS NISCAP, DoD RMF, and NIST RMF frameworks.
