Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Payload Communications Manager (Paycom) Console Operator for the ISS program in Huntsville, AL. This role serves as the primary voice between the ground and ISS crew for payload issues and operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating Space-to-Ground communications, maintaining logs, and representing Paycom at key ISS meetings. A BS in engineering or science and the ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or science or equivalent technical experience.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
• Willingness to travel domestically/internationally up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Serve as Paycom point of contact between ISS crew and ground for payload issues.
• Monitor, log, and coordinate Space-to-Ground communications and emails.
• Coordinate payload training and select procedures with payload cadre.
• Represent the Paycom group at ISS meetings and reviews (MEP, Training Panel).
• Support shift operations and maintain accurate real-time logs.
