Teledyne Brown Engineering is seeking a Stowage Team Lead to join our management team in Huntsville, AL. This role combines technical oversight of POI Stowage operations with direct personnel and operational management.

The Stowage Team Lead manages a 10–15 member cadre of certified flight controllers supporting ISS payload operations at the Payload Operations Integration Center (POIC). The successful candidate will serve as the primary focal point for cross-team coordination, drive process

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years directly supporting Payload Operations Integration (POI).
• Active Flight Controller or Mission Support certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related technical discipline strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily tasking, workload distribution, and performance for a 10–15 member stowage team.
• Oversee hiring, team building, conflict resolution, evaluations, and day‑to‑day needs.
• Assess capacity and assign tasks to balance workload across the team.
• Coordinate payload stowage across real-time and near-real-time functions.
• Ensure quality of Stowage Notes, long-range planning, and console support.
