Job summary

Teledyne Brown Engineering in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Stowage Team Lead to join the management team. You will oversee a 10–15‑member stowage cadre supporting ISS payload operations at the POIC, coordinating cross‑team activities and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities include staffing, workload balancing, performance reviews, and mentorship; serving as primary liaison with management; and ensuring high-quality deliverables such as Stowage Notes and long-range plans while advancing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of direct experience supporting Payload Operations Integration (POI).
• Active Flight Controller or Mission Support certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or related technical discipline is strongly preferred.
• Deep technical understanding of POIC interfaces, flight control operations, and microgravity payload requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 10–15 member stowage team, including hiring, performance evaluations and workload balancing.
• Coordinate payload stowage support across real-time and near-real-time functions with cross-team collaboration.
• Drive process improvement, ensure high-quality deliverables (Stowage Notes, long-range planning, console support).
