Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as a role model for students and support the school’s values and mission.
• Coordinate with administrators to maintain a safe, well-managed space for students during the day.

• Under supervision, implement and post Student Support Room procedures and expectations.
• Supervise the Student Support Room and lunch detentions as directed by the principal.
• Provide attendance support to the school as needed by the principal.

Job Description

Student Support Monitor and Attendance Support InstructionalAssistant

• Serve as a role model for students, demonstrating the importance and relevance of learning, accepting responsibility and demonstrating pride in the education profession.
• Provide and supervise in a fair and consistent manner the values, and mission of the school and district, in accordance with due process and other laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with school administration to provide a safe, well managed and disciplined space for students during the school day
• Maintain positive, cooperative, and mutually supportive relationships with staff and students
• Under the direction of the principal, implement and post Student Support Room procedures and expectations
• Supervise and maintain a strict, fair and caring environment in the Student Support Room.
• Keep accurate documentation for all students that are encountered on a daily basis.
• Supervise daily lunch detentions.
• Provide attendance support to the school at the direction of the principal
• Other duties as assigned.
