The successful candidate works with the Principal to supervise instruction and curriculum development; and assists as building manager, instructional leader, school climate leader, staff developer, and school/community relations specialist. The Assistant Principal should have leadership experience in Virginia Department of Education processes such as assessment, data collection, testing, and accountability. Familiarity with data measurement tools is essential. The successful applicant will hold or be eligible for the Admin. and Supervision PK-12 endorsement on a Virginia teaching license.
