Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh is seeking an Israel and Overseas Engagement Associate to lead Partnership2Gether, Israel scholarships, and community programming, working with staff, volunteers, and international partners to strengthen relationships and coordinate initiatives.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of Israel engagement or nonprofit programming experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as education, Jewish nonprofit management, Jewish studies, or Israeli studies.
• 3–5 years of experience in Israel engagement or Jewish nonprofit programming.
• Strong knowledge of and commitment to the Jewish community.
• Willingness to travel overseas and work flexible hours (evenings/weekends).

Responsibilities

• Plan strategic direction for Partnership2Gether (P2G) and coordinate programs with Pittsburgh, Karmiel/Misgav, Israel, and Warsaw.
• Represent P2G and the Federation at community events and programs.
• Manage budgets and committee processes for P2G.
• Build and maintain relationships with Jewish organizations and stakeholders.
• Engage with JFNA Israel and Overseas professionals' group and coordinate itineraries for delegations.
