Job summary

TP-Link Systems Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Level 2 ISP Field Application Engineer to support pre-sales and post-sales activities for ISP broadband products, including PON, Wi-Fi routers, Mesh, and 4G/5G FWA.

You will troubleshoot deployment, validate interoperability, and train internal teams and customers, working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementations and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, telecommunications, electrical engineering or related field.
3+ years in technical support, network solutions, ISP broadband environments or carrier roles.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP and LAN/WAN/VLAN/VPN architectures.
Experience with ISP provisioning and management technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

Handle complex issues escalated from pre-sales and Level 1 support with timely solutions.
Deliver remote and on-site technical support for deployment and interoperability issues.
Analyze technical requirements for ISP bids and support validation and testing.
Collaborate with sales and engineering to implement ISP broadband solutions.
Engage U.S. ISP customers to address inquiries and build technical relationships.
Deliver training to internal teams on ISP solutions and deployment scenarios.
Provide technical training to external ISP customers on deployment, provisioning and operation.
Update internal knowledge bases with troubleshooting and best practices.
Gather customer feedback on product performance and interoperability.
Participate in validation and testing of new ISP products for deployment readiness.
