Job summary

DuPont Newark, DE is seeking an Isostatics Operator (ISO) to manufacture Vespel product shapes in line with customer requirements. You will operate the manufacturing process and ensure quality and SOP conformance.

Responsibilities include completing SAP transactions, maintaining product traceability, keeping area clean, following PMs and schedules, performing minor maintenance, and upholding safety and PSM standards. A high school diploma is required, with the ability to lift 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Two years of manufacturing experience or relevant advanced degree (e.g., A.S. in Mechanical or Materials Engineering Technology, or related discipline).
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to write and interpret written instructions.
• Demonstrated competency in Teamwork, Analysis and Judgment, Engagement, and Managing for Productivity.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs routinely.
• Experience using basic hand and measuring tools.
• Legal work authorization in the United States; visa sponsorship or relocation assistance is not available.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing process while ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures, including preforming, loading/unloading baskets, and loading/unloading vessels.
• Complete SAP transactions, logs, and other work stream activities to maintain product traceability.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the area.
• Follow established team standards for cleaning, PMs, and production schedule.
• Perform simple system lock‑outs on area equipment.
• Carry out minor maintenance functions within the operating area and within the level of expertise.
• Maintain safety and PSM standards at all times and initiate and follow emergency site and area procedures when necessary.
