Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ideally 1 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, bills of materials, wiring and ladder diagrams desirable.
• Basic computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
• Experience using an ERP system desirable.
• Ability to utilize calipers and micrometers, and a Fluke multimeter.
• Work classified as Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL).
• Lift up to 75 pounds occasionally, up to 40 pounds frequently, and push/pull up to 40 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect component parts and finished products for conformance to production controls and ISO standards.
• Perform final inspection tasks on switches and part orders being shipped.
• Train production personnel in effective methods to control processes.
• Prepare reports for all findings and NCRs.
• Shut down non-conforming processes after notifying Supervisor.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
