Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a leading Richardson manufacturer, is seeking a cleanroom and/or mechanical assembler. You'll work Fri-Sun 12-hour shifts (36 hours) and be paid for 40, with options for additional Mon-Thu shifts at higher rates.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of electrical assembly experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent; a copy must be supplied for verification.
• Ability to stand, handle materials, and perform repetitive motions in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build electro-mechanical test fixtures and various test systems.
• Follow mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and customer specs.
• Wire rack-mount cabinets, control panels, and custom fixtures.
• Cut, strip, twist, tin, and solder wires; hand-place and secure components.
• Attach wires, cables, resistors, capacitors, and more to PCBs, connectors, and assemblies.
• Clean parts and maintain tidy work areas throughout production.
• Inspect thoroughly at each stage to uphold strict quality standards.

Your impact

Schedules

• Fri-Sun: 5:00 AM-5:00 PM (work 36 hours; paid 40)
• Optional Mon-Thu shifts:
  • 5:00 AM-3:30 PM - $20.00/hour
  • 4:00 PM-2:30 AM - $22.00/hour
