Job summary

Armanino is looking for a qualified auditor to lead ISO certification and internal audit engagements in New York. You will perform procedures, develop client relationships, and ensure high-quality deliverables across multiple engagements.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in audit with SOC/ISO exposure, strong project management, and the ability to mentor junior staff. This role supports career growth within a leading accounting and advisory firm.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, MIS, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of Audit experience with exposure to SOC or ISO engagements.
• Experience in supervising staff professionals.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to identify internal control deficiencies and document management letter comments for communicating deficiencies to clients.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISO Certification and Internal Audits for ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001.
• Perform engagement procedures and deliverables per Armanino methodologies and professional standards.
• Develop and maintain productive client relationships and establish credibility with key contacts.
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal engagement teams.
• Take ownership of deliverables and ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Monitor project responsibilities and provide updates to leadership.
• Identify issues, scope concerns, or risks and escalate appropriately.
• Participate in engagement planning, kickoff, status, and closing meetings.
• Conduct testing, reviews, assessments, and analysis per engagement requirements.
• Prepare, organize, and review client deliverables and reports.
• Respond to routine client questions and assist with engagement requests.
• Look for opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
• Assist multiple engagements simultaneously while prioritizing deadlines.
• Coach and guide Associates and junior team members.
