Job summary

Armanino seeks a detail‑oriented audit professional to supervise SOC examinations, HITRUST, and ISO engagements in Northern California. The role requires a degree in accounting or MIS/IT, with at least two years in public accounting and experience supervising staff. CPA/CISA preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, MIS, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years public accounting experience with exposure to SOC, HITRUST, or ISO engagements.
• Experience supervising staff professionals.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to identify internal control deficiencies and communicate to clients.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan, and perform SOC examinations, HITRUST certifications, ISO assessments, and ITGC support.
• Lead a team of staff members under supervision of a Manager and/or Partner.
• Learn the client’s platform structure, security, and software.
• Learn the client’s system and control environment and how it impacts their associated customer users.
• Exercise professional skepticism in the critical assessment of audit evidence.
• Demonstrate an understanding of workpapers and control testing.
• Identify, assess, and document controls and weaknesses in client systems.
• Evaluate assigned areas of controls testing and identify potential improvements.
• Know and apply SOC Trust Services Criteria and AICPA rules and ethics.
• Draft SOC examination reports and ISO internal audit reports.
• Follow firm quality control policy.
• Update Management on job status and issues.
