Job summary

The Islands of Islamorada, newly operated by EOS Hospitality, seeks an experienced bartender to join a team of hospitality professionals in a waterfront setting. You will greet guests, take orders, and serve with attention to beverage and service standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year professional bartending experience at a full service bar.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong beverage knowledge with understanding of cocktail recipes and basic wine and beer familiarity.
• Able to complete a satisfactory background check.
• Available and willing to work flexible hours including weekdays and weekends.
• Expresses sincere enthusiasm for the role and passion for food and beverage.
• Must know how to prioritize, delegate, and respond in a timely fashion; able to work under pressure, multi-task, and stay focused while maintaining hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Greet, direct, seat, and take food & beverage orders; serve guests per standards.
• Adhere to beverage pour and recipe standards; communicate inventory needs.
• Must understand daily specials and specialty menus; upsell to drive revenue.
• Prepare garnishes, pre-mix, and stock; create syrups and infusions.
• Open/close beer taps; polish glassware; manage trash and restock service areas.
• Process payments via POS; settle checks with adjustments as needed.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; assist teammates; attend trainings.
