Nantucket Cottage Hospital is seeking a pharmacist to join our small rural hospital’s pharmacy team on Nantucket Island. This full-time role includes day shift with rotating on-call, participates in patient care, drug information, and CSP preparation, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.

The pharmacist will manage sterile compounding, review orders for accuracy, and support education and safety programs. On-site work at 57 Prospect Street with a 40-hour week and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Current, valid Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy License required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform sterile compounding (hazardous and non-hazardous) per USP and BORP regulations.
• Review and dispense medications per policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and participate in interdisciplinary rounds.
• Maintain accurate records for controlled substances and inventories.
