Job summary

Tommy Bahama is seeking a hands-on culinary leader to mentor restaurant team members, enhance cooking techniques, and drive service excellence. You will help manage staffing, menus, and daily operations to ensure consistent island-inspired dining experiences.

You will collaborate with leadership to control costs, implement learning programs, and promote a positive work environment across the kitchen and dining areas.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Bending, stooping, and kneeling required.
• Stand for the duration of shift.
• Safely operate hand cart, blenders, knives, slices and wine keys.

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote a learning culture for restaurant team members to ensure culinary, sales and service success.
• Maintain appropriate staff levels based on projected sales and business needs.
• Foster open communication with restaurant team, senior team and home office partners.
• Assist with menu development and daily/weekly/monthly specials.
• Monitor food cost, labor costs and kitchen expenses to meet financial goals.
