Job summary

Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a Pennington campus of LSU, seeks an ISG Analyst 1, 2, or 3 to join Computing Services. You will manage and design enterprise infrastructure, support Windows servers, AD, and storage, and act as tier 2 escalation for IT issues in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

The role requires strong technical and communication skills, experience with data center infrastructure, and comfort with agile workflows. Work location is on-site at Baton Rouge, LA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Three years of IT-related experience for Analyst 2.
• Extensive experience with Windows ecosystem including Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, SCCM, WSUS, RDS.
• Experience with data center hardware and power/copper/fiber infrastructure management.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Windows Server OS and applications.
• Install and maintain server/network hardware and cabling.
• Monitor service availability; diagnose outages and impairments.
• Manage virtualization and enterprise storage.
• Administer enterprise tape backup environment and perform backups/test restores.
• Support hardware/software procurement and vendor relations.
• Provide tier 2 escalation support to Help Desk.
• Assist with requirements gathering and solution design.
