Job summary

Nationwide-Children is seeking a systems analyst to analyze business needs, define requirements, develop solutions, and support complex healthcare systems across departments. The role requires hands-on data work, test script creation, and after-hours on-call support.

You will document designs, ensure data integrity, coordinate user acceptance testing, and help plan disaster recovery. The team collaborates to integrate new systems and upgrade software, driving reliability and efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, required.
• ITIL certification or training, preferred.
• Strong SQL, relational databases, reporting tools, and MS Excel skills.
• Advanced MS Office knowledge: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• 5 years IT support experience; healthcare experience preferred.

Overview:Job Description Summary:Analyses business needs, defines requirements, develops solutions, implements, manages, and supports systems. Ability to work flexible schedules to meet job requirements; requires 24/7 on call after-hours support.Job Description:Essential Functions:Carries out systems analysis and provides support for complex medium to large systems across several departments. Manipulates, mines, and analyzes large, complex datasets.Creates and maintains high quality system, report, and interface test scripts.Tests and debugs systems to ensure they are functioning properly. coordinates user acceptance testing.Serves as a customer liaison for assigned business areas and provides technical support and troubleshooting for systems issues.Documents system design, testing, and maintenance procedures for future reference. Assures data integrity and system survivability by developing and maintaining Disaster Recovery plans for assigned systems.Collaborates with other IT professionals to integrate new systems with existing ones.Performs system updates, patches, service releases, and upgrades as needed.
